Yesterday 12 january 2010 Carrotmob won the ‘Groene Bril’! This reward is an initiative of Jong Groen!, the young branch of the Flemish ecological party Groen!. The Groene Bril is rewarded to the best ecological initiative of the past year. Other selected finalists were the ecological theater ‘Tegen de Lamp’ and the ‘Passiefhuis-Platform’, a platform for passive houses. Yesterday, during the new-years reception of Jong Groen! in De Markten in Brussels, Carrotmob was proclaimed as winner of the award. As well Carrotmob Antwerp as Carrotmob Brussels were present at the event to receive the price. Carrotmob thanks Jong Groen! for the recognition it gets with this reward and hopes that this will help Carrotmob in gaining more publicity and showing that accessible positive action is possible.
